The West Valley Firefighters Association is a Local Charter of the International Association of Firefighters AFL-CIO, and represents the firefighters of the Avra Valley Fire District. The West Valley Firefighters proudly protects and serves the residents and visitors of Avra Valley, Red Rock, and Missile Base.

While on the job, firefighters are paid to provide emergency services, the West Valley Firefighters association volunteers and provides several community out reach programs to assist and improve the quality of life of the residents in which we serve. The West Valley Firefighters are also active in the surrounding Local's events promoting the brother and sisterhood of the Fire Service.
